Welcome!  If you are looking for more than a daily snippet of Scripture and an inspirational thought, then this is the devotional website for you.

We want to encourage and enable you to dig deeper into God's Word on your own. Each devotion on our website takes an insightful look at a Scripture passage and provides a practical application. Then we suggest a few ways you can dig deeper into a word, a person, or a topic so that you can develop the Bible study skills you need to grow as a Christian.

We know your lives are as busy as ours, and we want you to have the time to explore a devotional theme in depth. Therefore, we do not post a new devotion each day; we post a featured devotion each week, on Thursday or Friday. We encourage you to read the passages suggested in the Dig Deeper section and to use the study helps in your Bible to explore other Scriptures, too.

Meditating on the same topic or passage for a few days will help you remember the truths God is teaching you. Let the Word of God marinate in your soul and savor its richness.

 Mission Statement

Our mission is to enable people to dig into God's Word on their own so that they can deepen their personal relationship with God, improve their understanding of how He interacts with His children, and strengthen their resolve to wholly trust Him no matter what life slings at them.

Store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding . . .
look for it as for silver and search for it as hidden treasure,
then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.
Proverbs 2:1-2, 5*

But when he, the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth.
John 16:13*
