Former English teacher Denise Loock is a Bible teacher, speaker, writer, and editor. Denise taught a weekly women’s Bible study at the Montgomery Evangelical Free Church in Belle Mead, NJ, for 15 years. Over the last 5 years, she developed and taught her own Bible study curriculum: The Life of Joseph, The Life of Moses, and The Life of Joshua, the books of 1 Samuel and 2 Samuel, and the Book of Ruth. Denise is currently teaching a Bible study on The Psalms at Long’s Chapel, in Waynesville, NC.

Denise has a BA degree in Elementary Education and Secondary Education: English from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. She has a MA degree in Twentieth Century British Literature from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL.
Denise taught high school English for seven years, first at Temple Christian School in Detroit, MI, and then at The King’s Academy in West Palm Beach, FL.
From 1987-2007, Denise taught freshmen composition and literature at three colleges: first at Philadelphia Biblical University, then at Mercer County Community College in New Jersey, and finally at Somerset Christian College also in New Jersey.
She lives in Western North Carolina with her husband, Mace, and their cat, Mokie. Son Jeff manages a sports bar/restaurant; daughter Kelsey is a commercial designer.
