Not-As-Famous Men and Women of the Bible

If someone asked you to name the most well known people in the Bible, what would you say? Jesus, of course. But who else? Abraham, Moses, David, Mary, Paul?

In this  series of devotions on not-as-famous men and women of the Bible, we explore the lives of people  who played pivotal roles in God’s great story of redemption, and yet they are usually overshadowed by their more famous contemporaries.

The New Testament writers emphasize that every child of God has a significant role in the story of redemption—including you! Ephesians 2: 10 says, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

We pray that this series will encourage you to persevere in your faith walk even if no one else seems to notice. Your good works, which God prepared in advance for you to do, may have a long-lasting influence in his eternal story.
