The Scriptures contain many accounts of women who loved God. Some are well-known; some aren’t. Some women worthy of our admiration aren’t even named. But God recorded their stories in His Word so we, women and men alike, may avoid their mistakes, learn from their weaknesses, and model their strengths. This group of devotions presents these women as Scripture presents them–flawed yet forgiven, beloved by God.
This series includes the following women: Eve, Sarah, Hagar, Leah, Deborah, Abigail, Elizabeth, The Woman with the Alabaster Jar, The Woman at the Well, Mary and Martha of Bethany, The Woman with the Issue of Blood, The Syrophoenician Woman, and Lydia.
